STORY OF PUBLIC BUSES

STORY OF PUBLIC BUSES
M.Arch Thesis 2015
Rhode Island School of Design

A Plan, Two 90 Degree Axons and Two Constructed 2 Point Perspectives

Back story: during the Syrian uprising and later civil war, destroyed public buses were re-purposed in multiple cities and used on the streets and in public squares as barriers to protect civilians from snipers.

The architecture is a walled off field, it’s constructed by the points of view of a sniper and a victim.
People can enter this field only at the two locations of these two points. Access to these locations is only possible by riding a subterranean bus..
